Rounding out the new releases for the week is 24 Hour Karate School from veteran hip-hop producer Ski Beatz. Best know for his work with Jay-Z on the classic "Dead Presidents" Ski enlists a crew of up and comers for 24HKS including Jay Electronica, The Cool Kids, Stalley and more. The only drawback? Not including the vocal version of "Cream of the Planet" with Mos Def.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR...

Also out this week is Album of the Year, the new record from Motown hip-hop producer/emcee Black Milk.The title of the album is a bit deceptive, it's actually connected to the year 2009 when Milk lost his close friend Baatin of Slum Village and saw his manager HexMurda experience a life-threatening stroke. The result is a focused effort that channels those hardships without coming off all "woe is me". Definitely check for this one.
