Goofy new video from KiD CuDi. This is "Erase Me" featuring KanYe West from the forthcoming Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Can't say I'm loving the new direction.

AUTHENTICITY...

Out today courtesy of FE Music is Authenticity, the third album from hip-hop turned soul duo The Foreign Exchange. One of the strengths of 2008's Leave It All Behind was the diversity of vocal talents backing Phonte including Muhsinah, YahZarah and Darien Brockington. With Authenticity, Phonte goes it alone for much of the album and I can't yet say if that's a good thing. Perhaps I need to give it a few more spins?

THE CORRIDOR EP...

Out now courtesy of Terrorhythm is The Corridor EP, the latest batch of tunes from UK electronic producer Om Unit. The EP features four new compositions from the man himself and a remix of the title track from the hotly tipped Shigeto. Check out the audio below.

The uber successful Janoski gets the premium nod again, this time in distressed black leather. Good look.

TSOL...

Rounding out the new releases for the week is the stateside release of TSOL from Canadian rap sensation Shad. Great beats. Great lyrics. Destined to be one of my favorite hip-hop records this year.

WHY LIKE THIS?

Also out this week is Why Like This?, the latest single from Brainfeeder affiliate Teebs. The single serves as a lead in for Ardour, his debut full-length which lands on October 19th. Do not sleep on this kid!

SUNBURST EP...

Also out this week is the Sunburst EP, the Warp debut from Glasglow resident Rustie. A wonderful confection of classic electro, ATL crunk, techno, R'n'B, and lazer-boogie. Doesn't that sound nice? See for yourself after the jump.

THE CALIPH'S TEA PARTY...

The 4th quarter of 2010 has officially arrived and with it another solid batch of new releases. First up is a remix album from Gonjasufi called The Caliph's Tea Party. The album features tracks from A Sufi and a Killer remixed by the likes of Bibio, Dam Mantle, Jeremiah Jae, Shlohmo and more.

Out this week via All City is L.A. Series #6 featuring the musical talents of Daedelus and Teebs. What a nice combination, right? The old guard of the LA beat scene alongside an exciting new comer. All City delivers once again.
