Also out this week is Only Mountain: The Remixes from LA beat scene veteran Take. The album features tracks from last year's Only Mountain remixed by the likes of Mono/Poly, Alex B, TOKiMONSTA, Mux Mool, Free the Robots, Shigeto, Eliot Lipp, Om Unit and more. SOOO good.

FULL CIRCLE REMIXES...

One of my favorite records from 2010 gets the remix treatment. Full Circle Remixes features one new track from Shigeto and a slew of top notch remixes from the likes of Mike Slott, Om Unit, Mux Mool, Samiyam, Beautiful Bells and Take. Peep the Take remix of "Look At All The Smiling Faces" after the jump. It's essential.

PROXIMITY ONE: NARRATIVE OF A CITY...

Out now is Proximity One: Narrative of a City, the latest release from upstart electronic imprint Proximal Records.

The album is a compilation featuring a plethora of LA-based talent including Dâm-Funk, Daedelus, Shlohmo, Take, Teebs, TOKiMONSTA, and more. Highlights are aplenty but my personal favorite is "Conversations With Yesterday" from Take. Listen below.

Also out this week is Only Mountain, the new album from LA beat scene veteran Take (aka Sweatson Klank). This album is really doing it for me. Electro-leaning synthlines and wonky beats drenched in a sunny West Coast vibe. The hotness for sure.

L.A. SERIES #2...

Out this week is the second (of 10) 10" releases in the L.A. Series from All City. Each release spotlights two LA based producers. Part 2 features new music from Sweatson Klank (the artist formerly known as Take) and Brainfeeder affiliate matthewdavid. Personally, I'm partial to the 3 joints produced by SK. "Soul Particles" is my favorite of the bunch, check it out after the jump.
