DISCO DYNAMITE...

Blu + Mainframe, collectively known as Johnson&Jonson, just launched a new multi-dimensional entertainment company called New World Color. To celebrate, the duo released a slew of new music via their website including this new video for "Disco Dynamite". Check it.

New video from Johnson&Jonson. This is "Up All Night" from Blu & Mainframe's self-titled 2008 release on Tres Records. Not my favorite track off the record, but Blu definitely does his thing.

Blu (who has become quite the regular here on Stay Puft) is back again with C.R.A.C. (pronounced "crass"), his project with Detroit emcee/producer Ta'Raach on Tres. Produced entirely by Ta'Raach, The Piece Talks has a gritty yet soulful vibe that would make Dilla proud.

I blogged about this duo a few weeks back during my 'Best of 2007' video recap. Here's the latest video from Blu & Exile for the splendid track "Blu Collar Worker". Once again taken from their debut collabo Below the Heavens. This record is major, go out and get it.

Up next is Blu & Exile with "So(ul) Amazin' (Steel Blazin')" off of the stellar Below the Heavens. Easily one of my favorite records from 2007. Lyrically, Blu is the truth.
