As was the case with the previous volume, Beat Konducta Vol. 6 is available via digi-download exclusively at the Stones Throw online store with the physical release slated for early 2009.

Crate digger extraordinaire Madlib is back with the final chapter in BBE's Beat Generation series entitled WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip.



The album features tracks from a bevy of Stones Throw mainstays such as Guilty Simpson, MED, Roc C, and Oh No in addition to indie vets such as Murs and Talib Kweli. The Madlib Invazion continues.

Madlib is prolific. Dude puts in work. Last month he gave us the re-working of Madvillainy and this week he drops Beat Konducta Vol. 5: Dil Cosby Suite, a tribute to the late great J Dilla.

As if that wasn't enough, September 30th marks the release of his highly anticipated addition to BBE's Beat Generation series entitled WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip. In summary, Madlib owns your iPod for the remainder of the year...and I ain't mad at him.

MADVILLAINY 2: THE MADLIB REMIX...

How does the saying go? If it ain't broke, don't remix it? Well, Madlib and the gang at Stones Throw have decided to defy this convention by releasing Madvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix, a "re-working" of the classic Madlib/DOOM collabo, Madvillainy.



Originally created by Madlib to serve as headphone listening during a 10 hour plane ride to Tokyo this "remix" album became so popular around the Stones Throw offices they decided to make it available to the general public. The album is available as a digital release OR as part of a crazy box set which includes the following:
