The album features production from the late J Dilla, Jake One, and of course Metal Fingers himself. Lyrically, it's vintage DOOM. Ill stream of thought flows, zero choruses, and a slew of random cultural references. Guaranteed hotness.

Jneiro Jarel is back as Dr. Who Dat? and he's ready to take us on another beat journey with his new record entitled Beyond 2morrow on Lex Records.



This is the first release of 2009 that I'm really excited about. JJ set aside the blunted beats and jazzy loops that dominated his last Who Dat? record replacing them with spacey backdrops and crunchy percussion. Fans of Dilla and Flying Lotus take notice.

The Oakland collective known to the world as Subtle returns with ExitingARM, the third chapter in the story of middle-class rapper Hour Hero Yes.



Like their previous two releases this album is densely layered with live instrumentation, electronic flourishes and Doseone's insane lyrical dexterity. The album draws inspiration from the lavish lifestyle of auto engineer John DeLorean, creator of the iconic 80's sports car best known for it's appearance in Back to the Future. Peep the video for the scorching single "I Lust U" featuring Welsh singer Cate Le Bon. It's a sure shot.
