Rounding out the trio of micro new releases for the week is Ponies, the debut EP from Leo123. Best known for his work alongside Eliot Lipp as Dark Party, Leo123 breaks out on his own and delivers a batch of crisp, angular electro heaters. Good stuff.

LIGHT YEARS...

BIG week for new releases. First up is Light Years, the highly-anticipated debut full-length from electro-funk beat makers Dark Party (Eliot Lipp + Leo 123). Fans of modern funk (think Dâm-Funk) and icy electro (think Jimmy Edgar) will be all over this one.

STATUS...

A few weeks back this little gem from Dark Party (Eliot Lipp + Leo 123) entitled "Status" popped up online. The duo was supposed to release a full-length DP record last year on Mush but it never came to fruition. Hopefully it will see the light of day sometime in 2009. Check out the goods below.
