Spring 2009 is shaping up to be a big season for Guillermo Scott Herren. First up is the new Savath y Savalas album entitled La Llama on Stones Throw.
For those new to S+S, the group (now) consists of Herren, Eva Puyuelo Muns, & Roberto Lange. Asked to describe the sound of La Llama, Herren describes it as "almost straight-up, Catalan/Castellano vocal-based folk steez".
The album is available for download exclusively at the Stones Throw online store and hits retail shelves May 19th. Next in line, the new P73 album and the debut from Diamond Watch Wrists, his collaboration with Zach Hill from Hella. All coming out within 3 months of each other. Get busy.
