A couple of weeks back hip-hop producer Damu the Fudgemunk dropped How It Should Sound Volume 1 & 2, an instrumental LP featuring beats created from 2003 to 2007. Fans of that classic Pete Rock style boom bap should be all over this one. Good stuff.

New video from emcee extraordinaire Lupe Fiasco. This is "I'm Beamin" from the forthcoming Lasers. Without question, Lupe is one of the illest in the game right now.

Out now is Cosmic Intoxication, the debut EP from LA debutante TOKiMONSTA, aka Jennifer Lee. Yet another quality release from the LA beat scene. I highly recommend "Smoke & Mirrors", it's my favorite joint on the album. Google it, it's good.
